The birth of social sciences in the world and in Viet Nam to meet the needs of modern society

Abstract

     Sociology is an independent science that studies the law of the emergence, transformation and development of therelationship between man and society. It was born around the first half of the nineteenth century in Europe. So far, nearly twocenturies of formation and development, the vitality of this science is still an interesting topic for contemporary scientists. In Vietnam,according to recent statistics, surveys on sociological research have increased significantly, with over 80% of research topics in thesocial sciences have been using methods of Sociology.
