Orientation of rural youth's employment (A case study in Thuy Huong commune, Chuong My district, Hanoi)

Abstract

    Hanoi is the leading city in terms of natural area and second in urban area with 12 urban districts, 1 town and 17suburban districts. Diverse terrain includes plains, midland, mountain. Population ranked second in the country with over 7 million people,including over 60,000 ethnic minorities. The suburban areas are adjacent to the districts of Hanoi. Strong urbanization has had an impacton the socio-economic life of people and has influenced the employment orientation of peri-urban rural youth. This is a case study in whichwe focus on the employment orientation of suburban youth in Thuy Huong Commune, Chuong My District, Hanoi.
