Factors influencing the published graduating standard of English at a nuber of universities in Vietnam

Abstract

    On 30th September 2008, the Prime Minister issued Decision 1400/QD-TTg on the approval of the project "Teaching andlearning foreign languages in the national education system for the period of 2008 - 2020" with general objectives: "To comprehensivelyrenovate the teaching and learning of foreign languages in the national education system, to launch new programs for teaching and learningforeign languages at different educational grades and levels." On the basis of the published standards, universities should ensure thestandards of: training programs, libraries, textbooks, facilities, equipment, practice, teaching staff, teaching methods, assessments,universities - business links and other social activities.
