Malaysia's asean economic community experience and learning lessons for Vietnamese bank

Abstract

   Integration of ASEAN economic community (AEC) brings many opportunities for Vietnamese banks. However, each opportunity also comes with challenges, so taking advantage of opportunities and finding appropriate directions by Vietnam commercial banks is something we need to consider. For Vietnam commercial banks, in order to improve their competitiveness, increasingly deeper integration in the AEC and the world economy, one of the most important things is to learn experience from other countries around the world. In particular, experiences from Malaysia in the context of AEC integration will be valuable lessons for Vietnam.
