Profiteering health insurance in Vietnam today

Abstract

    Health insurance is an important social policy of our Party and State, a main pillar of the nation social security system.Since the implementation of the health insurance policy in 1992, many important achievements have been achieved such as expanding the number of people participating in health insurance and moving towards universal health insurance…However, during the implementing process, there were also many problems such as fraud for profiteering health insurance, making the fund in deficit, inadequate revenues, affecting the sustainable development of health insurance policy. Therefore, in this article, the author finds out the situation, the causes and proposes solutions to limit profiteering health insurance.
