Policies and guidelines of the Communist Party of Vietnam on restructuring the financial system since the 12th National Congress

Abstract

     The strategy of restructuring the financial system in Vietnam has been set and emphasized for many years with two basic contents: restructuring the financial institution system and restructuring the financial market. The policies and guidelines on the restructuring of the financial system have been gradually implemented and enforced in practice, achieved certain results, and revealed the existing challenges that need to be solved soon. This paper generalizes policies and guidelines on the restructuring of the financial system in Vietnam from the 12^th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, discusses about the results of implementation and some of recommendations.
