Abstract
Risk assessment activities play a very important role in OSH. The scoring identification matrix method has been applied to assess occupational safety and hygiene risks at construction stone mining and processing facilities. The risk scores of hazardous factors are evaluated on the basis of reviewing and scoring criteria on frequency of hazard occurrence; on the consequences of injury and criteria on the ability to recognize hazardous factors. Risk assessment results help managers perform well risk management activities on OSH, promptly implement control measures to prevent occurrence of occupational accidents and diseases, and ensure safety for workers.
