Some solution on the union to protect employees’ employments in labor-inventing industry from the impact of digital transformation

Abstract

    Digital transformation will be an opportunity for businesses to improve costs, operating systems, increase productivity...; At the same time, it is also difficult for the labor market when there is a surplus of labor and changing job positions. Our country is mainly unskilled workers, highly concentrated in labor-intensive industries, when businesses conduct digital transformation, it will significantly affect many factors related to employment. Therefore, the Vietnam Trade Union, as a representative organization of workers, needs to prepare countermeasures in advance to be able to cope with the risk of the impact of digital transformation on the employment of workers.
