Current status of satisfaction of pediatric patients’ relatives with testing services at Nam Dinh Provincial Children’s Hospital in 2022

Abstract

Objectives: Assessing the current status of satisfaction of pediatric patients’ relatives with laboratory services at Nam Dinh Provincial Children’s Hospital in 2022. Methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study was implemented among 400 relatives of pediatric patients from January 2022 to March 2022 at Nam Dinh Provincial Children’s Hospital .The satisfaction scale was built based on reference to the outpatient patient opinion survey form of the Ministry of Health issued with Decision 3869/QD - BYT dated August 28, 2019. Results:The overall satisfaction rate of pediatric patients’ relatives with testing services was 96.19%, with an average satisfaction score of 4.49 ± 0.33 points. The overall satisfaction rate of pediatric patients’ relatives about testing services was 47.0%.Conclusion: The satisfaction rate of relatives of pediatric patients with testing services at Nam Dinh Provincial Children’s Hospital is quite high. Continue to find appropriate improvement solutions, testing processes and procedures that are simple, convenient, time-saving, especially reducing waiting time for patients
