Work motivation of nurses and some related factors at the Intensive care department of Viet Duc hospital

Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the work motivation of nurses and related factors at the Intensive Care Department, Viet Duc Hospital. Methods: Descriptive study was among 86 nurses working at Intensive Care Department I and II, Viet Duc Hospital from April to December 2023. Results:Overall assessment of work motivation of intensive care nurses shows that the percentage of nurses with work motivation was 40.7%. There were a statistically significant relationship between working motivation and the following factors: age, main income earner in the family, income, working time, type of work (p < 0.05) respectively. Conclusion: Research shows that the work motivation of nurses at the intensive care department of Viet Duc Hospital was not high
