Abstract

Objectives: To describe the current state of management of use of imaging imaging equipment in Thai Nguyen Central Hospital in 2018. Subjects and methods: Quantitative description of cross sectional analysis combined with qualitative research with numbers 68 staff of the hospital are directly responsible for the use, maintenance, repair and maintenance at the department; 61 diagnostic imaging equipment located in faculties, including machines. Results: Number of imaging medical devices. There are 61 devices in Thai Nguyen Central Hospital: Of which 53/61 (86.8%) are in use; Number of unused devices is 8/61, accounting for 13.1%; 58/61 (95.1%). Only three-fourths (4.9%) of the devices were rated at average levels. The criteria for evaluating the adequacy of the installation conditions of imaging equipment: 58/61 (95.1%) of the equipment have not met the standard installation requirements. On the development of the diagnostic imaging equipment management process: only 1/61 had a management process. Conclusion:The management and use of diagnostic imaging equipment in hospitals is relatively good, but the proportion of equipment with standard operating procedures is low.
