REALITY OF STRESS CAREER IN THE NURSERAT THAI BINH CHILDREN’ SHOSPITAL IN 2019

Objective: To describe the stress situation of nurses at Thai Binh Children’s Hospital in 2019. Method: Design of Descriptive cross-sectional study, the study subjects were 145 nurses at Thai Binh Children’s Hospital. Subjects self-fill information on stress status according to scale Expanded Nursing Stress Scale. Stress level is divided into 03 groups: low, medium, high. Results: Nurses in the research group have low stress levels. The lowest is when there are issues related to superiors (X±SD = 1.52 ± 0.16) (lack of support from other leaders, conflicts with your chief nurse), issues related to nursing colleagues (X±SD = 1.54 ± 0.12) (Difficult to work with heterosexual nurses, Lack of opportunity to share experiences and feelings with colleagues in the department), high most when there is a problem about the patient and the patient’s family (X±SD = 2,11 ± 0.26)(unreasonable demands by patient/ patient’s families, must work with the family members of the patient who has insults). Conclusion: The results indicated that nurses in the study group had low stress levels. The most stressful factor for nurses: Patients/patient’s families have unreasonable requirements; Must work with patients/patient’s families who have insults/insults. The least stressful factor for nurses: Difficult to work with heterosexual nurses; Lack of support of head nurse.Downloads
