Nursing students’ satisfaction with the curriculum at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine

Abstract
Objectives: Identifying the satisfaction of undergraduate nursing students with the curriculum at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine. Method: Analytical descriptive cross-sectional study on 149 third- and fourth-year nursing students at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine. Results: Nursing students were satisfied with the curriculum with a high mean score (3.79 ± 0.50). The study showed a high level of satisfaction in all 4 domains: In-class Teaching (3.56 ± 0.58), Clinical Teaching (3.96 ± 0.61), Program Design and Delivery (3.86 ± 0.54), Support and Resources (3.80 ± 0.56). Conclusion: The mean score of satisfaction for the Bachelor of science in Nursing curriculum at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine was high (3.79 ± 0.50). Therefore, the school needs to maintain the evaluation process and improvement of the nursing curriculum in order to build a safe, attractive, trustworthy and respectful environment for students with effective and modern teaching methods and tool, thereby providing the best learning experience and enhancing the reputation of the faculty.
