Knowledge and practice in the management of fever children under 5 years of age of mother at 311 Hospital, Pleiku city, Gialai province in 2022

Abstract

Objective: Describe the current status of knowledge and practice of treating fever for children under 5 years old of mothers at Hospital 331, Pleiku city, Gia Lai province in 2022. Research method: Cross-sectional descriptive study in 210 mothers of children under 5 years old with a pre-prepared structured questionnaire. Research period from January 2022 to September 2022. Results: The proportion of mothers with satisfactory knowledge about fever treatment was 42.9% and 39.1% had satisfactory practice in fever treatment. Conclusion: It is necessary to strengthen communication work to improve mothers’ knowledge about fever management.
