Toward a microscopic description of the phonon damping model
Abstract
The formalism of a fully microscopic phonon damping model is developed. Phonon operators are generated from microscopic RPA calculations using the Skyrme effective interactions. Particle-hole, particle-particle, hole-hole interactions vertex have been microscopically calculated in term of RPA $X$ and $Y$ amplitudes. Primary results for isovector giant dipole resonance of $^{40}{Ca}$ have been discussed.Downloads
