STUDYING THE EFFECTS OF POTASSIUM FERTILIZER AND PHOSPHORUS FERTILIZER DOSAGE ON THE GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT AND YIELD OF HYBRID CORN VARIETY QT55 SPRING 2022 IN VINH TUONG DISTRICT, VINH PHUC PROVINCE

Abstract

Hybrid corn variety QT55, which was studies by teachers of the Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Hong Duc University, is a new corn variety that has been allowed to circulate by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development according to Decision No.: 44/QD-TT-CLT February 28, 2022. Completing the technical process to supplement balanced nutrients to create conditions for the QT55 hybrid corn variety to grow and develop well, achieve productivity, limit harmful pests and diseases and achieve high quality. Research results on the effects of potassium and phosphorus fertilization doses of hybrid corn variety QT55 show that, at a fertilization level of 110 kg P₂O₅/ha (P3) and a fertilization level of 100 kg K₂O /ha (K3), the plant height reached 198.9 cm. The fertilization formula of 70 P₂O₅/ha (P1) and the fertilization level of 60 kg K₂O /ha (K1) have the lowest tree height of 192.5 cm. The yield of hybrid corn variety QT55 is highest in the P3K3 formula with a fertilization level of 110 kg P₂O₅/ha and 100 kg K₂O/ha, which is 7.21 tons/ha; The lowest formula (P1K1) reached 6.45 tons/ha.
