Abstract

The article studies the use and role of time in The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns (two best sellers by Khaled Hossseini in recent years). Thanks to this, the two storylines about history, politics, culture, society and private life of the country and people of Afghanistan become more multifaceted, authentic and interesting.
