HO QUI LI'S METHODOLOGIES IN EDUCATIONAL REFORM AND THE LESSONS FOR OUR COUNTRY’S EDUCATIONAL INNOVATIONS

Abstract

In the medieval history of Vietnam, Ho Quy Ly was considered as a reformer. His innovative policies were comprehensive and valiant across the fields of politics, administration, national defense, finance, ideology, culture, society and education. Among them, the renovation of ideology, culture and education is evaluated as the most progressive. After more than 600 years, the permanent world cultural heritage of the Ho Dynasty Citadel is always the pride of the nation. Nowadays, his ideas and reform approach, especially the culture and education ones, are still valuable lessons for the ongoing educational reform in Vietnam.
