Abstract
Language proficiency development is an important task and goal in teaching literature, not only with Vietnamese practice but also directly related to the reception and creation of texts. For Vietnamese practice in Textbook of Literature for Sixth Grade, language proficiency development is specified through the practice of four skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing. To effectively implement these four skills, teachers can flexibly use teaching modes and methods, including integrated and differentiated teaching perspectives. It is important to be flexible and appropriate when using these teaching methods and modes, based on each topic, specific goals and content.
