TERRITORIAL ORGANIZATION OF THACH THANH DISTRICT’S ECONOMY OF THANH HOA PROVINCE

Abstract

Under the combined influence of factors: geographical location, natural and socio-economic resources, investment capital and development strategies, the territory of 559,21km2 of Thach Thanh has a very unique territorial picture. diversified with General economic territory and sectoral economic territory. The general group of territories has developed territory (including 4 sub-regions, 3 urban areas and 2 economic corridors), some of territories developed to a limited extent and some are banned from development. The sectoral group of territories includes: industrial territories (2 clusters and 1 industrial park),
agricultural territories (farm households,746 farms, 47 cooperatives, 01 agricultural enterprise- industry and a lot of specialized agricultural areas) and service sectors (with markets, supermarkets, trade centers, spots and tourist areas. The article also recommends some solutions to organize the territory of Thach Thanh district in the coming years
