Creativity in Vietnamese public universities: The role of empowering leadership, work engagement, sharing knowledge and autonomous work behavior

Abstract
The aim of this study is to discover relations between Empowering Leadership (EL), Work Engagement (WE), Knowledge Sharing (KS), Automatic Behavior (AB), and Employee Creativity (CR) under Perceived Organizational Support (POS), an examine case of officials at VPUs. By using quantitative research methods, the sample was collected using the stratification technique. Research results show that EL and CR have a positive relationship with WE, KS, AB, and WE, KS, AB have a positive relationship with CR. WE, KS, and AB are intermediate variables that affect the impact of EL on CR under the positive influence of the moderating variable POS. Therefore, it will help to propose implications for leaders to focus on the role of EL, which is the origin of the formation of WE, KS, and AB, to increase the creativity of officials at VPU. In addition, the research results also help realize the importance of EL in a context where creativity and innovation are needed to improve the performance and knowledge transfer capacity of universities.
