Propose a research model: Factors affecting the logistics costs of textile and garment export enterprises in Vietnam

Abstract

This study utilizes the Theory - Context - Characteristics - Methodology approach (TCCM) to conduct a comprehensive content analysis of 25 articles directly addressing factors that impact logistics costs. These articles were sourced from Google Scholar and prominent journals in the fields of Logistics & Supply Chain Management, as well as Production Management, spanning the period from 2002 to 2021. Drawing on the TCCM analysis and taking into account the specific context of the Vietnamese textile and garment industry, the authors put forth a research model elucidating the factors affecting logistics costs for textile and garment export enterprises in Vietnam. The outcomes of the TCCM analysis, Resource-based theory, and the research process not only lay the groundwork for constructing a research model specific to the logistics costs of textile and garment export enterprises in Vietnam but also offer valuable insights for the prospective application of this methodology in future economic and management studies.
