Abstract

Leisure tourism is exploited multi-dimensionally in the academic aspect; however, it is still quite limited in the practical aspect. Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism points out that Thu Duc City has enough cultural tourism resources, attractive man-made structures, etc., to develop modern entertainment complexes and events. Large-scale international tourism, culture, and sports. Using the desk research method, the topic learns about types of entertainment, evaluates the current situation, and proposes solutions to develop these types of Thu Duc City. Among the seven main types of entertainment considered, theme parks and amusement parks are the group of types in which the city has the highest competitive strength. Bar-Pub is also a type of entertainment that attracts many tourists to this city. However, there is a very large division between domestic and international visitors. Particularly, performance stages and casinos are two types that are not yet prominent. Through that, the study has proposed a number of solutions to contribute to developing Thu Duc City into an outstanding and impressive entertainment destination for tourists.
