Abstract
This article analyzes Cambodia’s current foreign economic relations in the new international context. The study applies a multidimensional approach, combining theoretical and practical analysis to assess Cambodia’s foreign economic policy and situation comprehensively. The results show Cambodia has significantly adjusted its foreign economic policy, focusing on diversifying relationships, participating extensively in multilateral cooperation mechanisms, and selectively attracting FDI. Despite facing many challenges from the unstable global economic environment, Cambodia has maintained positive growth momentum, improved its trade balance, and diversified its financial structure. However, the country also faces challenges such as declining employment in the manufacturing sector and dependence on a few major partners, especially China. Based on these findings, the article concludes that Cambodia needs to continue efforts to diversify its economy, enhance competitiveness, and strengthen financial autonomy to ensure sustainable development in the future.Downloads
