The relationship between smartphone addiction, loneliness, and academic procrastination in high school students: a cross-sectional study

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between smartphone addiction (smartphone), loneliness and academic procrastination in high school students. 437 students at two high schools in Nghe An province participated in the research and completed the questionnaire including demographic questions, Smartphone addiction scale (SAS-SV), Loneliness scale (UCLA III) and Academic procrastination scale (APS- SF). Research results show that 43,7% of students are addicted to using smartphones, there is a positive correlation between the degree of smartphone addiction, loneliness and academic procrastination. Several recommendations for future research are given.
