The research purpose is to clarify the relationship between using Project Based Learning (PBL) and developing learning capacity for students and to design the process of implementing PBL in teaching the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Theoretical and pedagogical experimental research methods are used in the research process. The findings show that, for the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam module, the PBL is an active teaching method, contributing to the development of problemsolving skills, communication skills, collaboration skills, and self-study competencies for students, with the potential for wide application in similar teaching contexts in political theory programs.
