Abstract

The article analyzes the ability to apply chemical knowledge of high school students with specific expression levels and evaluation criteria for each expression. On that basis, the authors develop some types of exercises in the direction of the PISA approach to evaluate each criterion of the ability to apply chemical knowledge according to the content of the high school organic chemistry curriculum. The illustrative examples in the lesson are built with the level of achievement of students compared to the criteria of ability to apply chemical knowledge when solving these types of exercises.
