Characteristics of Phu Tho province ecological system

Abstract

   The article presents the preliminary results of the classification of ecological systems and assesses features associated with each specific ecosystem according to a unified system, based on established classification. Ecosystems map for the territory of Phu Tho province was established with 22 independent units including 7 tropical forests, 4 sub-tropical forests, plantation forest, 4 scrubs, 01 grass lands, 4 agricultural ecosystems and 01 aquatic ecosystem. This research will be the basis for further research on functional zoning to use for the organization of space for natural resource and environmental management in the direction of sustainable development of Phu Tho province.
