EMPOWERING RURAL YOUTH THROUGH TRADITIONAL CRAFTBASED ENTREPRENEURIAL EDUCATION IN THE RED RIVER DELTA FOR NEW RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

Implementing the program “SupportingYouth to Entrepreneurship in the period 2022 –2030” organized by the Central Ho MinhCommunist Youth Union, all levels of the Union atthe Red River Delta Regional Union have activelyorganized entrepreneurial education activities.These initiatives have specifically emphasizedentrepreneurship education from traditional crafts,associated with the “One Commune One ProductProgram” in building new rural areas. However, thelimited capacity of union officials at the grassrootslevel and the lack of coordination with communityforces lead to low educational effectiveness. Toimprove this issue, we have proposed severalmeasures to promote the Youth Union’s leadershipand foster active participation in the Craft Villagecommunity, promoting the positivity of learnersthrough practice and building a learning environmenton a digital platform. From there, this approach seeksto stimulate the innovative entrepreneurial spirit ofrural youth, restructure the rural agricultural economy,and change the local socio-economic face accordingto the requirements of building new rural areas
