Abstract

The approach of interaction between artforms is already common in creative writing andliterary research. With the development ofcomparative literature, the trend of interdisciplinaryresearch opens up the possibility of approachingliterary works in diverse interactions with other artforms. By comparing the novel Blindness by JoséSaramago and the novel The City sentenced todisappear by Tran Trong Vu, the interactionmechanism, the variety of aesthetic effects, and theability to reflect reality in the mixture of genresLiterary and artistic images will be explained. Thearticle combines the systematic method whenconsidering literature and painting as members ofthe art family using the comparative method whenpointing out differences based on similarities inmechanism typological interaction in the novels ofthe two writers.
