Abstract

This article studies documentstranscribing Le Khac Can’s works, pen name HaiHanh (海杏), including 6 texts: Hai Hanh literatureschool (海杏文派) (A.358); Hai Hanh Le’santhology (海杏黎公文集) (VHv. 259); Hai Hanh'spoetry collection (海杏詩集) (A.466); Mien Trai'santhology (勉齋文集) (VHV. 261/1-3.); Le KhacCan's anthology (黎克謹集) (R.420); Le Khac Can'santhology (黎克謹公文集) (R.1763). Using the textstudy, the article has consulted the authenticity ofexisting documents, classifying existing documentsas authentic and doubtful documents based oncriteria such as information about the author; scope,limited sections, chapters, and sections related to LeKhac Can's works in each text; Informational contentand external evidence from the texts such as usageof words, place names, characters related to Le KhacCan's life, etc. Thereby, the article identifies thegood edition as VHv.261, The surviving version issuspected to be A.466. That is the basis forexploiting research on the value of Le Khac Can'sworks.
