Abstract

From 2000 to the present, with theimplementation of the policy of restructuring cropsand livestock according to Resolution No.09/2000/NQ-CP, the Ca Mau fisheries industry hashad a strong shift in the territory. The aquaculturearea has expanded in both saltwater, brackish, andfreshwater areas bringing high economic efficiency.In particular, with the development of large-capacityfleets, the scope of offshore fishing has beenextended and can increase in the future. Byanalyzing the process of restructuring fisheries in theterritory of Ca Mau from 2000 to 2022, the paperclarifies the achievements and limitations, therebyoffering solutions to organize production territoriesreasonably and effectively
