World exhibitions are major events,organized to introduce and honor the industrialachievements of imperialist countries. At the Parisexhibition in 1867, for the first time, there was theparticipation of "non-Western" countries, such asDai Nam. Based on the research of Chau Bandocuments and historical books of the NationalInstitute of History, the topic focuses onunderstanding the reactions and activities of theNguyen Dynasty when invited to participate in worldexhibitions held in France in the late 19th and early20th centuries.
