Developing coastal tourism in Ben Tre province based on Green economy model

Abstract

In this article, the authors based on the theory of the Green Economy model to provide an overview of resources and the current situation of coastal tourism development in Ben Tre province. The strengths can be mentioned such as climate, topography, mangrove ecosystem. Besides, there are also limitations on the quality of beaches and underground water sources. From there, the author gives orientation to build coastal tourism products in 03 groups: coastal eco-tourism; tourism to study marine culture and cultural - historical relics associated with the sea; Sea tourism - entertainment in line with the Green trend of the world.
