Abstract
Poetry is increasingly becoming interdisciplinary, combining various art forms and genres such as poetry, painting, performance art, architecture, music, and visual arts. It also frequently merges with other literary forms like prose, epic poetry, and novels. A modern poetry genre that does not pander to readers' tastes in an easy and lenient way, actively encourages and attracts readers, and creates its audience. Duong Tuong is one of the few leading poets in this trend. He had a reforming ambition since very early on (since the 1960s), and persevered throughout his life to experiment (causing controversial opinions for a long time), living fully with poetry and literature. This article explores the intersection between poetry and various forms of art (poetry with music, poetry with painting) in the poetry of Duong Tuong – one of the forceful expressions of poetic innovation, bringing poetry to far-off shores in terms of form. Music and painting in Duong Tuong's poetry are not simply evoked through artistic language, but also through their very substance.
