The pregnancy and giving birth at a young age in Vietnam and some policy implications

Abstract
The article has mentioned the negative effects of pregnancy and giving birth at a young age, such as psychological effects, on the health of mothers and children, and effects on family and society. Since then, the article has proposed policy implications to limit teenage pregnancy and giving birth in Vietnam in the near future, namely: (i) promoting sex education, and reproductive health in schools; (ii) promoting the role of the school counselor (homeroom teacher); (iii) promote health work and school counseling; (iv) promote the role of men in limiting pregnancy and give birth in adolescents; (v) promote the role of the family; (vi) close cooperation between family - school and homeroom teachers.
