Professional skills of lecturers at the Water Resources University in development strategy period

Abstract

    The paper focus on assessment of professional skills of lecturers at water resources university. The applied methods are the analysis of secondary data and survey. The techniques are mainly applied: expert interviews, questionnaires and group discussions. The results of this study indicated that a different of skills level of lecturers, lecturer with research experience have better skills in teaching and researching than you lecturers. Curriculum development skills and teaching skills of male and female lecturers are good in the same level. However, male lecturers are better in research activities. Suggestions about improving of teaching skills for young lectuerers and organise seminar for sharing teaching skills are recommended.
