Research on theory of forming surface hypoid gears and formulating equation of tooth surface of hypoid gears

Abstract

    Currently, demand for repair and replacement transmission gears hypoid increasing with the development of equipment and machinery, especially in the trucking industry and building equipment. Manufaturing hypoid gears in Vietnam is still limited and productivity is not high. In this paper, the author introduces the principles of machining, theory of forming surface hypoid gear, method of formulating equation of tooth surfaces of hypoid gears and equation of tooth surfaces of hypoit gears. This is an important foundation for further research to develop methods of machining on CNC machine tools.
