A new countryside construction planning in the industrialization- modernization process in rural areas in Viet Nam

Abstract

     Over the past few years, the new countryside construction program was initially achieved important results: there are some positive changes in rural areas, living standard including of material and spirituality life has been raised.  However, these processes also face some inadequate problems: using too much concrete will lose the traditional beauty of rural areas; environment becomes more and more polluted; the village characters faded... These problems are due to many reasons. But in general, communes still confuse about planning, the planning is not really excellent, or the planning has not done yet. 

     Rural area planning issues need investigating more carefully about design model, landscape architecture, environment, land use criteria, technical infrastructure standards and society infrastructure standards... This document aims to provide the directions, solutions for new countryside construction planning in our country today.
