Research on scheduling of water saving irrigation and soil moisture reservation methord on coffee field

Abstract

   Central hightland contribute upto 90% in both amount and area of coffee in Vietnam. However, shortage of irrigated water are the causes of decrease the yield of coffee, consequencing to unsustainabe development.

   This paper is presenting the analysing data get from the field experiment on scheduling of the irrigation of coffee on Feralit soil in 3 year crops, from 2006-2009. The results shown that with the scheduling of 500m3/ha for one time of irrigated and PE cover application could saving upto 37% amuont of irrigated water without descreasing the yield of coffee.
