Study on assessment of climate change impact on agriculture in Quang Ngai province

Abstract

      Climate change, with mainly expression is global warming and sea level rise, is one of the biggest challenges for mankind in the 21st century. Climate change will affect all economic sectors including agriculture. This paper presents the results of assessing the impact of climate change on agriculture in Quang Ngai province. According to the calculation results, due to the temperature rise, the demand for water for agriculture in the Quang Ngai province will tend to increase. Besides, due to sea level rise, will increase the risk of flood plain area, agricultural area will be reduced. On the other hand, due to the effects of changes in temperature and precipitation, the yield is considered affected.
