The field test results for pulling out bearing capacity of screw anchor

Abstract

     The solution of additional strength for overlap blocks of seadike to use screw anchor has been proposed. The screw anchor is twisted in soil of body dike and connected with overlap blocks. The pull out bearing capacity equation of screw anchor was established and now checked in lab and also in the field. The paper presents research results to pull out screw anchor in lab and in the filed. The test results shows good bearing capacity of screw anchor and optimal depth of screw anchor in soil body dike.
