Study on estuary and coastal evolution of Cua Dai (Quang Nam)

Abstract

       Simulated results on evolution of CUA DAI estuary and coastlines is carried out by using modules of LITLINES and LITPROF that belongS to MIKE software package. The number of scenarios is proposed to simulate and forecast quantitatively eroded depth as well width in every coastal section in natural conditions as well as protected solutions. Results show that the strongest variation is occurring around the river mouth and north coast of CUA DAI is more unstable than that in the south. The result will support decision maker to select suitable solution that ensure both technical and economic conditions and consisted at the present time and future.
