Design wave height for sea projects should be concerned to topography factor as 3d to get high accuracy

Abstract

     The dam connecting between two islands- Honla and Honco located in Honla Port, Quangbinh Province has been damaged seriously by tropical cyclone namely "Sontinh" in October 2012. The failure of this project leading to lession for construction of coastal projects that the design frequency should be higher than one level comparing with the project of inland. When calculation of design parameter, moreover, much attention should be given to the topography which increases the height of wave.
