Abstract

In architectural design, structural systems themselves, materials, technical pipeline systems and machineries with high level of technical perfection can create great inspiration to art, causing the sense of beauty to the observers. Due to requirements of use of irrigation and hydroelectric works, their form directs to simplicity, natural beauty of shapes, of movement, and of force-resistant structural systems themselves. They include dams, spillways, posts, valve gates, salinity preventing drains, water bridges, etc. in a harmonious combination of aesthetic beauty in technical cubes, becoming a unique landscape highlight and adorning the banks of river.
