Rainwater collection and storage for household water supply in Mekong delta

Abstract

    Rainwater is commonly used in the Mekong Delta, particularly at the areas, where have no centralized water supply system and water scarcity. The percentage of households using rainwater is still low nowadays due to lack of water storage equipment. Rainwater is not being collected in properly way in many households. Collected rainwater quality commonly not good enough and cannot use for drinking purpose. This paper presents a model of rainwater collection and storage system, that would be applied for the rural households
