Study to determine the relation between impermeability w and permeability coefficient kt of conventional concrete used in hydraulic constructions
Abstract
This paper studies the relationship between impermeability W and permeability coefficient Kt of conventional concrete grades of (M15 ÷ M40) used in Hydraulic constructions. From the results of experimental studies in the Lab to determine the relationship between W and Kt. The results showed to be more precise assessment of water permeability of hydraulic concrete: the compressive strength of concrete > 20 MPa should be using W, and ≤ 20 MPa should be using Kt.
