Construction flow conducting in flood season while construction of hydropower and water resources projects

Abstract

        Conducting of construction flow plays an important role in construction of hydropower and water resources projects. Determination of sustainable approaches for conducting of construction flow will maintain construction work following schedule, safety and saving cost. But in large scale projects such as Se-San 3, Se-San 4, Ban-Ve, Tuyen-Quang, Cua-Dat etc of which being constructed in recent time, conventional approaches of construction flow conducting shall make enormous and expensive structures. Thus, in recent years, approaches as in-complete construction conduit and weir for conducting of construction flow in flood season at hydropower and water resources projects in many countries and Vietnam are being applied that making economictechnical efficiency.

            This paper presents some approaches to conduct construction flow in flood season that applying in the world as well as in Vietnam.
