Solutions of protecting cavitation for energy dissipaters behind high spillway, applied in nuoc trong spillway.

Abstract

    When designing absorption basin of high spillway and high specific capacity, arrangement of auxiliary energy dissipaters in basin (abutment, bar...) helps to improve energy dispersal condition, decrease depth and length of basin. However, these energy dissipaters are destroyed by cavitation. So calculating solutions of protecting cavitation for them is necessary in design.

    This article presents method of air pipeline arragement and calculation for energy dispersal abutments - applied in Nuoc Trong spillway.
