Sensitivity studies of some parameters in processes mechanism of the flash flood on the Gardons d’Anduze – French

Abstract

   The flash floods of slope basin threaten not only the property but also the human lives. MARINE software (Modélisation de l'Anticipation du Ruissellement et des Inondations pour des évéNements Extrêmes) has been developed at the Institute Fluids Mechanics of Toulouse, it allows the calculation of the flood hydrogram at the outlet of the basin. There are many parameters are involved in the shape of the hydrogram; problem is, which parameters are most sensitive for the results? From the flood hydrogram at the outlet of the Gardons d'Anduze basin, the use method GLUE "Generalized Likelihood Uncertainty Estimation" and the different comparative criteria between the simulations and the observations, we can compare sensitivity of the different parameters in the processes of flash flood.
